The Training and Placement Cell hosted 'Pitch Perfect,' an analytical presentation competition at Poddar International College. Seven teams researched and presented creative solutions, judged by experts from ISTD and the placement team. The event was a great success, enhancing students' skills.
Youवाह," the biggest soft skills development event at Poddar, was an intercollegiate youth fest held in collaboration with ISTD on 1st-2nd November 2023. It featured innovative competitions like debates, quizzes, MUN, and analytical presentations, enhancing participants' practical skills. The fest saw participation from 10-12 colleges, culminating in awards and a musical performance.
Organized by the Training and Placement Cell, this workshop is an exclusive opportunity for BCA 2nd-year students to explore the Salesforce platform. Students have gained insights into its applications, functionalities, and how to leverage it for work and app development. A testament to student creativity, teamwork, and leadership! Organized by BBA 2nd semester students under the guidance of the Training & Placement Cell, this engaging event featured six dynamic activities designed to test knowledge, presence of mind, time management, listening skills, and confidence. The best-performing team was crowned based on all parameters. Beyond the competition, students honed essential skills like communication, problem-solving, and creative thinking, making it a true experiential learning experience!
A mock interview session was conducted for MBA students, simulating real placement scenarios with industry-style questions. This experience provided valuable insights into their strengths and areas for improvement, helping them better prepare for future opportunities.
It was a group discussion event by the Training and Placement Cell and Literary Management Club for BBA 1st-year students. Covering topics like cybercrime, AI, and climate change, it encouraged students to step out of their comfort zones. Six teams participated, with Yashasvi, Kaushal, and Vikas recognized as the Top 3 speakers, and Team A winning Best Group Discussion Team. The event successfully enhanced communication skills and peer interaction.

Guided by Mrs. Anuradha Ghosh, Training Head, participants received valuable feedback on communication, critical thinking, and group dynamics. The session enhanced their articulation, active listening, and problem-solving skills, preparing them for future placements.
A mock interview was conducted for PGDM students to prepare them for placements. They faced real interview scenarios, simulating actual hiring processes. After the session, they received assessments highlighting their strengths and areas for improvement.
