Poddar Group of Institutions, a synonym of vibrancy, dynamism and enriched positivity begun with its journey way back in 1998 under thought-provoking vision of Dr.AnandPoddar. Concretely, “Education with a Purpose to Shape a Better Future” remains the mainstream motto of the group. With advent of industrialization and ever increasing demand of professionally trained skilled youth, our core focus has been to conceptualize the ideology what lies beyond academics; skill development, entrepreneurship and eco-system nurturing leading to generation of self-sustained youth of “New India”. .
The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. But it involves deliberation and much hesitation. The magnificent journey of Poddar Group of Institutions however began in 1998 with a surge of enthusiasm that, in itself, makes a poignant tale. It is an inspiring tale and in the words of the founder of Poddar Group, Dr. Anand Poddar, it says: -
“In spite of being from a business class family, I was working as a trainer because the want to strengthen the Youth was always in the back of my mind. Even in the 5thdecade of India’s independence young graduates were struggling to even get a job. Specialization in every sector was being introduced in India I figured out that the lack of significant and innovative programs were the reasons. My heart cried out to see that the Youth with so much potential aren’t getting what they deserved. That was a golden instance where Poddar group was formed with an aim to foster learning and achieve excellent standards of quality education keeping in pace with rapidly changing technologies and best practices.”
Thus the institution was founded to bridge the gap by emphasizing on value based programs to make students corporate ready; and train them for even startups. The group has been envisioned to impart Purposeful education from various UG and PG programs to high end research programs (Ph.D., Incubate Technical Support Programs) thereby catering to both industry specific and employability options encompassing multiple facets of divergent disciplines. The group colleges focus on Best Innovative Academic practices reinforced with student mentoring, learning and support activities through various Clubs and cells. Our Alumni are carrying the rich values and virtues imbibed making us proud by scaling newer heights in different facets of the careers.
To fulfil the Vision and to nurture leaders of tomorrow, Group started a dedicated campus for Management Education. Nestled in the vibrant city of Jaipur, our business school stands as a testament to excellence, innovation, and leadership in management education. Offering Next Gen PGDM Program Approved by AICTE PBS has World Class Infrastructure, Academic Excellence, Industry Relevant Curriculum and new age electives. Poddar Business School takes pride in its three Centers of Excellence—I-Knowledge, Food & Agri Business, and Hospitality & Tourism and global exposure (foreign tour) and IIM Immersion program being offered in different trimesters. These centers serve as focal points for specialized knowledge, research, and industry collaboration and academic collaboration.
"Poddar Management and Technical Campus" was started in the year 2011 approved by AICTE and affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University. The College has set up a benchmark to prepare the students for the upcoming challenges in the corporate world by imbibing creative and analytical thinking, problem solving and other industry relevant skills. The institute is coming up with a separate campus for Management Programs providing students with global exposure through its IIC, MHRD Centre guided by Mentors and corporate leaders. The institute is Ranked No. 3 in Rajasthan. amongst best colleges of India by India Today survey of excellence 2023.The Institute also ranks at no. 1 in Rajasthan and 30 in India (ROI) by Business Today - MDRA Survey 2023. The institute is accredited as the only institute in Rajasthan to be awarded as Centre of Excellence (CoE) and Research Centre by Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) Kota, considering the quality education imparted by the institution. Poddar International College (Affiliated to University of Rajasthan, Jaipur; approved under section 2(f) and 12(B) of UGC Act 1956), being one of the premier institutions of the group is centrally locatedand equipped with all the major amenities.The college has been accredited by NAAC (An Autonomous Institution under UGC). Additionally, to add to its academic journey, it has been a recipient of some exceptionally prestigious awards like “Best Upcoming Higher Education Institute of Rajasthan” conferred by ASSOCHAM, Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi. It has been ranked among top positions in Rajasthan by the India Today - Nielsen survey for its excellence not only at academic up-front but also at Research and Development, Skill Development, Extension Activities, Women Empowerment, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Science Popularization and Outreach, Community Programs. It is among the few Institutes in Rajasthan to be shortlisted for NIRF (National Institute of Ranking Framework), under Govt. of India for the top-ranking colleges of India. Until recently, the college has received a major project from Department of Science and technology, Government of Rajasthan, Jaipur to establish Biotechnology Business Incubation Centre. Poddar Management Training Institute, a B.Ed college approved from NCTE and affiliated to University of Rajasthan is focusing on the qualitative and innovative teaching methodologies and experiential and research-oriented learning to ensure right mentoring of the students. Poddar International College of Pharmacy is Pharmacy college approvedby Pharmacy Council of India. The D.Pharma is a popular course taught with Hi-tech pharmacy equipments and modern labs.
