Poddar Group of Institutions, a synonym of vibrancy, dynamism and enriched positivity begun with its journey way back in 1998 under the thought-provoking vision of Dr. Anand Poddar. the Group was founded with a powerful mission: “Education with a Purpose to Shape a Better Future.” With advent of industrialization and ever-increasing demand of professionally trained and skilled youth, our core focus has been to conceptualize the ideology what lies beyond academics; skill development, entrepreneurship and eco-system nurturing, leading to generation of self-sustained youth of “New India”.
The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. But it involves deliberation and much hesitation. The magnificent journey of Poddar Group of Institutions however, began in 1998, with a surge of enthusiasm that, in itself, makes a poignant tale. It is an inspiring tale and in the words of the Founder of Poddar Group, Dr. Anand Poddar, it says:
“In spite of being from a business class family, I was working as a trainer because the need to strengthen the Youth was always at the back of my mind. Even in the 5th decade of India’s Independence, young graduates were struggling to even get a job. Specialization in every sector was being introduced in India and I figured out that lack of significant and innovative programs were the reasons. My heart cried out to see that the Youth with so much potential were not getting what they deserved. That was a golden instance where Poddar Group was formed with an aim to foster learning and achieve excellent standards of Quality Education keeping in pace with rapidly changing technologies and best practices”.
This realization became the turning point. It inspired the foundation of Poddar Group of Institutions with a clear mission — to bridge the gap between conventional education and the evolving needs of industry and society. From its very inception, the institution has focused on value-based, skill-oriented education that prepares students not only for employment but also for entrepreneurship and leadership. These initiatives reflect the Group’s unwavering commitment to creating meaningful societal impact and contributing to national development, it has also signed MoUs with more than 25 International and National Institutions and collaborated for Student Exchange Programs, Internships and Trainings. Poddar International College Poddar International College Affiliated to the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur; approved under Section 2(f) and 12(B) of UGC Act 1956, stands as one of the flagship institutions of the Group. Strategically located in Jaipur, the college offers an intellectually stimulating environment that blends academic rigor with industry exposure and skill-oriented education. PIC has been ranked 3rd in Rajasthan for Science in India Today Ranking 3rd in Rajasthan for Commerce in India Today Ranking The institute has been a recipient of some exceptionally prestigious awards like “Best Upcoming Higher Education Institute of Rajasthan” conferred by ASSOCHAM, Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi.
