The Department of Management organized the Orientation Programme for MBA Semester III students with the objective of welcoming the students into their new semester and equipping them with academic, non-academic, and career-oriented guidelines.
The programme began with the traditional welcome and tilak ceremony, where juniors warmly greeted the MBA III students. This was followed by the National Anthem, instilling a sense of unity and pride among all present.
The inaugural session featured inspiring addresses by Dr. Sunil Kakkar and Dr. Shiva Sharma, who motivated the students to excel academically and professionally while also upholding values of discipline and teamwork.
Adding vibrancy to the event, students showcased their cultural performances, creating an engaging and celebratory atmosphere.
Post the cultural segment, students were briefed about academic and non-academic guidelines, including details about specialization subjects, enabling them to plan their semester more effectively.
The orientation also featured two highly insightful expert sessions:
In addition, some students from senior batches came forward to share their experiences, which provided the MBA III students with practical perspectives on academic learning, internships, and campus life.
The event concluded with a lively interaction session between juniors and seniors, strengthening the bond across batches and fostering a sense of community within the campus.
Overall, the Orientation Programme was a well-structured blend of tradition, motivation, academic clarity, and career guidance. It proved to be an enriching experience for the MBA Semester III students as they embarked on a new phase of their management journey at Poddar Management and Technical Campus.
