Weekend Corporate Immersion Program with Jaipur Rugs

Poddar Business School organized a Weekend Corporate Learning Program for PGDM Trimester III students at Jaipur Rugs Head Office on 1 August 2026. The visit aimed to provide experiential learning by exposing students to real-world corporate practices and business operations.

The program began with an overview of Jaipur Rugs' journey, business model, and organizational values. Students then interacted with representatives from various departments, including Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, Operations & Supply Chain, Sales, and CSR. Each department explained its roles, responsibilities, workflows, challenges, and contribution to organizational success. Students gained practical insights into recruitment, branding, financial planning, production processes, export operations, quality management, and community empowerment initiatives.

The interactive sessions encouraged students to ask questions and understand how different departments collaborate to achieve business excellence. The visit strengthened their understanding of classroom concepts through practical exposure while enhancing industry awareness, professional communication, and managerial thinking.

The corporate learning program successfully bridged the gap between academic learning and industry expectations, making it a valuable and enriching experience for all participating students.
