The NSS Cell of Poddar International College celebrated NSS Day on September 25, 2023

The NSS Cell of Poddar International College celebrated NSS Day on September 25, 2023 with great zeal and enthusiasm. The event started by welcoming the Chief Guest of the event Professor Snigdha Sharma, Principal of Government College; District  Coordinator, NSS; District  Coordinator, SVEEP. The NSS aims and activities were elucidated by NSS Coordinator Dr. Shilpika Tewari through a presentation. Dr. Praveen Goswami, Principal of Poddar International College addressed the students stating about the significance of NSS Day and highlighted the importance of youth power in the development of the society and country. Various cultural activities like Dance, Singing and Drama were held in which students participated with great excitement. Besides, there were competitions on Poster Making and Poetry Recitation. The First, Second and Third winners of the event were awarded with certificates. The NSS volunteers of II and III Year were also commended for their active contribution in the NSS activities and were given Certificates of Recognition. There was also an Oath Ceremony for the NSS volunteers. The NSS Coordinator Dr. Poonam Dhawan presented vote of thanks to the guests.
