Each student is encouraged to choose any retail store of their choice, whether it be a large supermarket, a boutique, or a departmental store, and conduct an in-depth analysis of its marketing mix. This project allows students to critically evaluate how the chosen retail outlet strategizes the 4Ps of marketing—Product, Price, Place, and Promotion.
By examining real-world applications of these concepts, students gain a deeper understanding of how businesses create value for customers and drive sales. They also study factors like store branding, customer service, and loyalty programs to better understand the complete retail strategy.
Through this live project, students develop valuable analytical skills and the ability to apply classroom theory to practical scenarios. It fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making, key qualities that set Poddar Business School graduates apart in the retail sector. This hands-on learning, guided by expert mentors like Ms. Jain, ensures that students are job-ready and equipped to thrive in competitive retail environments.
