Internships

An internship is essential part of PGDM curriculum. Undertaking an internship program during the two years of study is considered to be one of the main practical benefits for students studying for a PGDM program. It is basically a great way to get involved in the real corporate world and increase your practical knowledge to become an industry-ready professional and also to observe how the principles and concepts are practiced in a real-time workplace. Employers offer full-time employment to more than half of their interns. They are also willing to negotiate higher salaries for those who have undertaken an internship. As a part of the PGDM program, students are required to undergo internship in the corporate sector after 2nd trimester and 5th trimester.

Poddar Placement Cell has built a fruitful and long-lasting relationship with various organizations. The cell strives for converting every student in to 100% employable as it while their pursuing their education with us and endeavors. The cell helps students by counselling them to choose an appropriate career depending on their attitude and interests. The continuous efforts of training and placement team headed by the Director and independent staff consists of faculty and student placement coordinator drawn from various departments.

Campus to Corporate

Poddar International College aims to keep the needs of the industry in perspective and in turn make the learning more pragmatic and applicable. A five-day management development program was organized for its MBA, BBA and PGDM students. The Experts focused on keeping a balance mindset, skills and tools as they are essential for success. Under the theme Corporate to Connect’ corporate trainer from Mumbai Mr. Mahendra B. Thakur from Mumbai focused on the balance of mindset, skills and tools as they are essential for success.  

Training Program

The Training and Placement Cell orchestrated the 'Pitch Perfect' event within the premises of Poddar International College.  The event welcomed a distinguished guest, Ms. Rajshree Jain from ISTD, who graciously joined as one of the judges and mentors.

The Training and Placement Department of Poddar International College also organized training Program ‘Saksham’ conducted by Star Health and Allied Insurance for students. This was 3-month rigorous training program, which is conducted regularly in Poddar campus from this training students will get a practical exposure on prospecting, need identification, sales skills, objection handling, etc. The Training and Placement Cell of Poddar International College also organized an intercollegiate youth fest, ‘Youwah’, in collaboration with Indian Society of Training and Development (ISTD). The Cell also organized a Pre-Placement Talk of A3Logics (India) Pvt. Ltd. for students of the BCA and MCA 2024 students.
