Overview and Background
Common Admission Test (CAT) Exam is conducted annually for admission into Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and other best colleges for MBA or PGDM in India at national level. It is a management aptitude test conducted for acquiring entrance in MBA/PGP programs. CAT 2022 exam will be conducted on November 27, 2022.

CAT Selection Process 2022
IIMs will start the selection process for admission after the results of CAT 2022 are announced. The CAT result 2022 is expected to be released in the second week of January 2023. Based on the performance in the CAT 2022 exam, candidates will be shortlisted for the next rounds of selection. The list of the candidates selected for further rounds of admission process will be made available on the website of the respective IIMs. Shortlisted candidates will be notified through email as well.
