    The “5 WHY?” Activity Poddar Business School Jaipur

    The “5 WHY?” Activity

    The “5 WHY?” activity was conducted for PGDM T3 students to strengthen their problem-solving and analytical thinking skills by identifying the root causes of issues rather than surface-level symptoms. 
    As part of the Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking module, students worked in small groups on real-life business challenges, repeatedly asking “Why?” to uncover the underlying cause of each problem. 
    The exercise promoted structured thinking, logical reasoning, collaboration, and communication among participants. Students responded enthusiastically, appreciating the technique’s simplicity and practical relevance for both academic and professional contexts.
     Overall, the session effectively met its objectives, fostering a mindset of inquiry, teamwork, and continuous improvement through experiential learning.
