Poddar Sansthan organised Shakti Samvad – Udyam Utsav on 28 October 2026 in collaboration with Sewayaam, focusing on women’s entrepreneurship, economic empowerment, safety, and the promotion of local enterprises.

The event was graced by the Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan, Shri Haribhau Bagade, who inaugurated the Shakti Vandan Mobile App, an initiative aimed at supporting women’s entrepreneurship and empowerment. The programme was attended by Shri Shiv Lehri Ji, Kshetra Sewa Pramukh, RSS; Smt. Manju Sharma, Member of Parliament, Jaipur City; Dr. Soumya Gurjar, Former Mayor of Jaipur; and Ms. Sargam Poddar, Assistant Director, Poddar Group of Institutions.

A key highlight of the programme was the exhibition showcasing products developed and marketed by women entrepreneurs. The Governor visited the exhibition, interacted with participants, appreciated their efforts, and encouraged the public to support women-led businesses by purchasing locally produced products.

The programme highlighted the importance of providing women with opportunities, guidance, resources, and market access to establish and grow their enterprises. It also emphasised the role of women as entrepreneurs, employment generators, leaders, and active contributors to the nation’s development.

Aligned with the vision of Vocal for Local, the event promoted locally made products and highlighted how women-led enterprises can create sustainable livelihoods, strengthen local economies, and contribute to inclusive growth.

The inauguration of the Shakti Vandan Mobile App and the activities organised under Shakti Samvad – Udyam Utsav marked an important step towards encouraging women’s financial independence, entrepreneurial participation, and leadership. Through such initiatives, Poddar Sansthan remains committed to promoting women’s empowerment, entrepreneurship, and sustainable community development.
