Industrial Visit to Jaipur Rugs

Poddar Business School & Poddar Management and Technical Campus organized an Industrial Visit for PGDM I & III Trimester & MBA I Semester on 06 September 2023, where Students were taken to Jaipur Rugs. The visit was organized by the Dean of Academics Dr. Sunil Kakkar. Mr. Abhsihek Sharma and Dr. Tanuja Jain was the Coordinator faculty member Of corporate Visit. The management scholars learned and put some interesting questions in front of the authorities of Jaipur Rugs, about the Socio-Economic Business Model, HR Practices, and Marketing Strategies of the firm. Various business models & marketing theories were also discussed with the freshmen of MBA. Later, the procedure of making rugs by providing a finishing hand to it was demonstrated and how to present the marketing pitch to the client/customer according to consumers' interest. Freshmen of PGDM & MBA enjoyed a lot and interacted with authorities to get an idea of the workings of the corporate world.
